“Good conversation – there’s nothing like it, is there? The air of ideas is the only air worth breathing.” Edith Wharton

The Sunday afternoon chill out session just got a little more enlightening. Join THAT Production Company as they chat to acclaimed director and CEO of Metro Arts Brisbane Dr. David Fenton.

David Fenton, previously Head of Performance Practices at NIDA, Director for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival and having directed over sixty-five productions is currently collaborating with performer Brian Lucas to create Oscar Wilde’s De Profundis, a new solo contemporary theatre work set to premiere at Brisbane Powerhouse this April. Our conversation, like his remarkable career, and his latest work, will explore sexuality, gender and queer theatre.

Sit back and soak it in, or raise your hand and discover the answer to your own burning questions as this Sunday afternoon conversation explores why art matters.

Presented by THAT Production Company.

Programmed as a part of Studio 188's Behind the Red Curtain series.
